When You Don’t Know Where to Start

You might be here because something feels off- but you’re not quite sure how to put it into words.

Maybe it’s a low-level hum of anxiety that never quite goes away.

Maybe you feel like you're going through the motions, stuck in familiar patterns you can’t seem to break.

Maybe you're constantly showing up for others, but struggling to show up for yourself.

And maybe, you’re asking yourself:

Is this even something therapy can help with?

The short answer? Yes.

Therapy doesn’t require a crisis. You don’t need a diagnosis, or a perfectly formed narrative about your past.

You just need a willingness to begin.

So where do we start?

Often, we start by slowing things down.

We take a gentle look at how you're feeling- mentally, emotionally, physically.

We notice the thoughts that loop, the places your body tightens, the moments where you lose your voice or shrink yourself to fit.

We begin to explore where those patterns might have come from.

And what it might feel like to respond differently, over time.

It’s okay if you don’t know what you need yet.

Sometimes people come to therapy not knowing what they want, only what they no longer want to carry.

That’s a good enough place to begin.

You don’t need the right words. You don’t need to “make it worth it.”

You just need to come as you are.

We’ll figure the rest out together.
